Cambodia Allows Incoming Businesspeople to Quarantine at Home


Phnom Penh (CAMM), Nov. 1 – Cambodia has allowed business people who travel abroad and return to Cambodia can quarantine at home, effective from 1 November 2021, premier Hun Sen spoke at the launch of the vaccination campaign for children 5 years old on Monday at the Peace Palace.

“From now on, business people from abroad can quarantine at home for only 3 days,” the primer said.

On 16 October, Cambodian Health Ministry announced new quarantine measures for Cambodian or international travelers.

Cambodian and foreign investors, technical staffs, officers in charge of official development projects, diplomats, and government officials (including their family members) returning to Cambodia upon completing a mission abroad will need to quarantine for only three days.

Cambodian and foreign travelers, in general, will need to quarantine for seven days; those who have not yet been fully vaccinated will quarantine for 14 days.
